Character concepts I did based on sketches in my book. I am basically figuring out how to design fast and efficiently - up to a consistent looking and finished coloring.
I use a lot of transformation to tweak the sketch in photoshop. Then I basically add layer mask, color each color range separately and add overall gradients before I go into the painting with hard edge brushes and add the finishing.
